A TTRPG blog by Jonathan Hicks, game designer and author
White on black is notoriously hard to read lots of text. Can you invert it?
It reads fine to me, though Rob may be right.
At least it isn't red on black.
I did the colour invert and it looks better. It's a bit bland along the top but I'll sort out a proper header at some point.
I only recently stumbled upon your site. I was an avid gamer in the 80's and still love the high fantasy lands inspired by Tolkien and D&D. I wrote my book because no one was doing the type of more serious D&D book that I wanted to read.
If you've got a link to your work, Ted, then share it and I'll post it here to get you some publicity - if you want it, that is!
Kind of you to offer. I only recently began querying agents on the long road to publication. I have posted twenty two chapters here - http://www.authonomy.com/ViewBook.aspx?bookid=20406 and will gladly post more if people ask. I'm interested in improving it, so if anyone reads and sees things that jolt them out of the story, please let me know! Thanks!Oh, and my blog has a lot of information about the world of my book, including maps and some art.
I like it! I gotta agree with the light text on dark backgrounds, I always have problems with it. Not necessarily problems READING it, but when I look away, it's like it's burnt into my retinas for a couple minutes. Drives me bonkers! This looks good!
Love it mate, looks fresh and clean, which is good as the info within is utterly filthy :-p
